It is our desire that you find "A Home for Your Heart" at Southwood Baptist Church. Southwood is a multigenerational community consisting of families from across the Tulsa Metro area. We seek to grow larger by growing smaller. Through our small group ministry we seek to live life together at Southwood Baptist Church.
All-Church Fellowships
Each season we sponsor all-church events which allow our members to become better acquainted with one another. Whether it is a summer picnic, a fall festival, or a holiday gathering at Thanksgiving or Christmas we seek to build a community of friends from all generations.
Small
Group Fellowships
The Sunday School small group ministry of Southwood forms the backbone of our church. It is through belonging to one of these small groups that most of our deepest friendships develop. Individuals are given a chance to build intimate relationships with people and families who are challenged with going through a similar season of life. It is also through these small groups that the deepest level of ministry takes place.
Large Group Fellowships
In addition to small groups, Southwood is divided into larger groups for fellowship. Our senior adults enjoy the LLL Ministry and monthly luncheon, while our youth participate in several Crosspoint Ministry activities and socials. Our singles keep the calendar full of opportunities to grow closer together, while the men and women of the church participate in Men's and Women's Enrichment Ministries.
